Cottman-Walker 2jpgMary Anna Cottman-Walker, 86 of Crisfield, Maryland formerly of Marion Station, Maryland went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, Maryland. Born July 14, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Oscar Cottman, Sr. and Helen Jackson-Cottman

“Mary Anna” as she was affectionately known was educated in the Somerset County Public Schools. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a faithful member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Marumsco. While attending Ebenezer she served on the Usher Board. “Mary Anna” loved her Church and worked tirelessly in any capacity that was needed.

She was employed as a seafood worker for many years until her retirement. She was married to the late Roy Walker and they shared many happy years together. Mary was loved by all that knew her and will be sorrowfully missed by her family and friends.

She leaves to Cherish her memory with her sister, Thelma Alexander (Clifton) of Crisfield, Maryland; her brother, Christopher Cottman (JoAnne) of Tyaskin, Maryland; one sister-in-law Esther Crute and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends.

In addition to her Husband and Parents she was preceded in death by eight brothers, Hartford, Roger, Edward, Greenie, Wilbur, John, William and Oscar Jr. and one sister, Georgia.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM Tuesday October 21, 2014 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Marion Station with a viewing one hour prior. Rev. Alexenia Seldon will be the Eulogist. A viewing will also be held 12-6PM Monday October 20, 2014 at the funeral home in Princess Anne. Interment will be in the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock,
