Ernest Stanford Kersey, Jr., 56, of Frederick, Maryland, formerly of Kingston, Maryland, departed this life Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born January 19, 1959, he was the son of Ernest and Thelma Kersey.
In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory with four brothers: Kaven, Nathan, Raymond and Eric Kersey; five sisters, Lydia Peterson, Tinna, Carol, Jennifer and Margaret “Lanell” Kersey; two uncles, Raymond Kersey (Irene) and Leroy Ballard (Leola); Three aunts, Victoria Hawkins (Earlie), Bessie Dickerson (Bill) and Delores James (Lionel); several nephews, nieces, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Nicole Kersey.
A memorial service will be held 12 noon Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne. Interment will be private.

My heartfelt condolence to the family and friends of Mr. Ernest Kersey. The death of a loved one is hard to bear. Your heavenly father understands your pain as he too experienced the death of his only begotten son, Jesus Christ. Job 14: 14, 15 shows that God yearns to bring your dear loved one back to life. To the family of Ernest Kersey l pray that you find comfort in God love. I know losing a love one is hard it is something however we will all go through.I know that trusting the Lord at this most difficult time he will give peace to the family.I will miss seeing his smiling face and, hearing him sing with the praise team. I say rest in love brother Erinie and keep sing but now you can sing with the angles.
