Mary Ester Cullen, 83, was called to her eternal rest on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood, New Jersey. She was born on April 16, 1928 in Crisfield, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late Tobe Harmond and Daisey Richardson Stevenson.
Mary grew up in Crisfield and was educated in the Somerset County Public Schools. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Charles H. Cullen in 1959.
Mary was employed as a seafood worker. Her favorite past time was watching her favorite television programs and spending time with family and friends.
Mary leaves cherished and fond memories with one stepdaughter, Joanne Sterling of Crisfield, Maryland; one sister-in-law, Virginia Sorrell of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Stevenson and William Stevenson; and one sister Jimmie Lee Harmond.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Highway Holiness Church in Crisfield, Maryland, where friends may call one hour prior. Interment services will be held at Hopewell U.M.C. Cemetery in Hopewell, Maryland.
