Avonte’ Jamar Brown, infant, departed this life on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Peninsula Regional Medical Cener in Salisbury, Maryland. Born on July 11, 2012, he was the son of Rayshima Lasheer Schoolfield and Arron James Brown.
For a very short period of time, the family had a chance to watch him laugh, play and grow bigger, but God had bigger plans and quietly called Avonte’ home. The family loves him very much and they did not want him to leave, but God only takes the best to rest.
He leaves to cherish his memories in addition to his parents, two brothers, Rayshawn Arron Brown and Aaron Jermaine Brown, both of Pocomoke City, Maryland; two grandmothers, Ruth Copes and Kathy Williams, also of Pocomoke City; great-grandmothers Mable Johnson, Lucinda Brown, Doris Schoolfield and Ruth Capers; two grandfathers James Marshall and Arron James Brown, Sr.; six aunts, Tammy Copes, Shanita Copes, Ronnette Hitch, Ragina Schoolfield, Rakita Brown and Lynette Schoolfield; six uncles, Omar Williams, Alphonso Taylor, Jerry Copes, Roger Schoolfield, Jr., Jamair Brown and Marcus Brown; and a host of cousins and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Roger Lee Schoolfield, Sr.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at St. John’s Holiness Church in Stockton, Maryland. Interment will be at Cool Spring United Methodist Church in Girdletree, Maryland.
