  6. To all who loved “Handy Man”

I was very saddened to read this obit. He and I enjoyed a friendship that will endure time. He would come to my office in the Court House and we would have some pretty interesting discussions.

To his family, my heart goes out to you and I pray for your comfort and peace in the days to come. John 14: 1-4 gives us assurance that all will be well. God has prepared a place for him.

Nishan Panwar, a noted and prolific Hindu poet wrote this,
    “Death takes the body.
    God takes the soul.
    Our mind holds the memories.
    Our heart keeps the love.
Our faith lets us know we will meet again”.

I pray that in the days to come you will find peace and comfort in the wonderful memories you have of him sharing his life with you. Feel blessed that you had that privilege of being in his life and loving him.

For me, it is sad to know I will not again speak with him as a friend and meet on the level.

May God bless each and every one of you who were in his life.

  7. I only had the opportunity to know Mr. Handy but a short time. He was a very interesting man, We sat in his den and discussed many different subjects. Mainly how time has changed the world. He even touched on politics. He told me all about his family and time working at ECI. It was nice to listen to his side of
the world. I enjoyed those little insights. Bill and family, I am so sorry for your loss and thanks for introducing him to me. I am sure you will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Bob Purnell
