Humphrey E. “Sonny” Gayle, 73 of Philadelphia departed this life on Saturday, May 27,2017 at his residence. Born March 20, 1944 he was the son of the late Benjamin and Juanita Robinson.
He is survived by the love of his life, Mozell; one daughter, Victoria Williams (Harold); four brothers, Christopher (Helena), Keith (Michelle), Darnell (Zaphanie) and Lonell (Mary) Robinson; seven sisters, Delores Deshields, Sandra Wong, Cheryl Ray, Margo, Sheila, Marsha and Marilyn Robinson and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Calvary Methodist Church, 801 S. 48th Street Philadelphia, PA with a viewing two hours prior. Services in Philadelphia are being handled by B.K.G. Funeral Home 1125 W. Lehigh Ave. Philadelphia, PA. A funeral Service will also be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne with a viewing one hour prior.
Interment will be in The Robinson Family Cemetery in Westover.
