Mitchell Henderson Jones, 62, of Salisbury, Maryland formerly of Crisfield, Maryland departed this life Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Born November 13, 1955, he was the son of the late Thomas Henry Jackson and Marlene Jones Maples.
Mitch, as he was affectionately called, served in the United States Navy for many years.
He leaves to cherish his memory: four brothers, Henry Jackson, Anthony Jackson, Quentin Jackson and Nicki Jackson; one sister, Lynette Fisher; two nephews, Maurice Douglas and Donte Fisher; one niece Marshauna Douglas; three aunts, Gertie Mae Strasser, Mary Jackson and Lottie Jackson; a host of relatives and friends.
In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Maurice Jackson and grandmother, Nettie Cottman.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Enon Baptist Church in Crisfield, Maryland. Interment will be private.
