Melissa “Mendy ” Tilghman, 50, of Princess Anne, went home to be with the lord on Wednesday, November 7 , 2018 at Salisbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salisbury, Maryland. Born November 23, 1967, she was the daughter of Rudolph Tilghman and Virginia Hardy (Jasper, Jr.).
In addition to her parents she is survived by two brothers, Rudolph Tilghman (Daphne) and Victor Hardy; three sisters, Vanessa Hawkins (Carl), Destiny Tilghman and Helen Hardy; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Saint Andrews United Methodist Church in Upper Hill with a viewing one hour prior. A viewing will also be held 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday, November 16, 2018 at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne.
Interment will be at the Tilghman Family Cemetery in Upper Hill.
