Stanford Leon “Stan-Boy” Wise, 66, of Crisfield, Maryland, formerly of Port Norris, New Jersey departed this life Monday, August 24, 2020 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland. Born September 2,1953, he was the son of the late Stanford Gibbs and Margaret Blackstone Wise.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Valerie Wise; five sons, Stanford Broome (Gretta), Darnell Broome, Stantez Wise, Michael Widbee and Troy Widbee; two daughters, Vickie Davis (Michael) and Quiana Wise (Darryl, Sr.); 30 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Craig Wise and Cliffton Wise; three sisters, Eartha Cullen, Myra Wise and Mary Wise and a host of nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Wise and Alverta Shaw; one brother, Clebo Wise and one grandson, De’Ron Day.
A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Highway Holiness Church in Crisfield ( Hopewell ) with a viewing two hours prior.
Internment will be in Haleyville Cemetery in Port Norris, New Jersey.
