Brenda Joyce Elmore, 66, of Princess Anne, MD departed this life to go to her eternal home and rest with the Lord on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Salisbury Rehabilitation and Nursing Center (Genesis Healthcare) in Salisbury, MD. Born June 6, 1954, to her ever loving parents, the late Arthur, Sr. and Ella Mason-Taylor.
Better known by family and close friends as “Sissy Boo”, Aunt BB.
Brenda received her education in the Somerset County School System. For many years she worked at Manokin Manor in Princess Anne.
Brenda was member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Princess Anne, where she attended faithfully until her health declined.
Brenda was very entertaining and always had a funny story to tell. She thought she was the greatest cook there was.
She leaves to cherish her memory with: two sons, Keith Elmore, Sr. (Lisa) of Princess Anne and Troy Taylor (Cheri) of Crisfield, MD; one daughter, Cassandra Taylor (Phillip) of Salisbury, MD; seven grandchildren, Devon Taylor, Keith Elmore, Jr., Kourtnee Elmore, Tia and Tamara Taylor, Brooklyn Banks and J’Von Coates; one great granddaughter, Knovah Elmore; one brother, Arthur Taylor, Jr. (Frances); one sister, Elaine Taylor (Chris); a special niece, Wanda Taylor; a host of nephews, other nieces, relatives and friends; her devoted companion and special friend who was by her side to the very end, John Braxton of Princess Anne.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Taylor; two sisters, Delsie Taylor and Mary Taylor.
A public viewing will be held 2:00 PM-6:00 PM Monday, December 14, 2020 at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne.
Funeral Services will be private.
