Billy James Rowland, 79, of Princess Anne, Maryland formerly of Rockport, Texas departed this life Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Tidalhealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, Maryland. Born August 15, 1941, he was the son of the late Jim Bob Rowland and Lila Jo Scott-Rowland.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Barbara Rowland; on son, Bryan Rowland (Shirley); one daughter, Deidra Gardner (James); one stepdaughter, Teresa James; one stepson, Gerald James, Jr.; three grandsons, Kennie Montgomery, Anthony Montgomery and Gerald James, III; six great grandchildren; nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, one sister, Jane Rowland and one stepdaughter, Brenda James.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
