Benjamin Jones, Sr., 93, of Upper Hill, MD gained his heavenly wings on Sunday, July 11, 2021 in Cambridge MD, surrounded by his family. Born September 12,1927, he was the son of the late Howard Jones and Lille Johnson-Handy.
He is survived by his five children, Benjamin Jones, Jr. (Barbara), Dr. Maria Hosch, Jacqueline Jackson (Taavon), Clarice Mathies (Craig) and Janet Jones (Dennis); 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Jones.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021 at noon at St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Upper Hill, MD with a viewing one hour prior to the service. A viewing will also be held 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, July 16, 2021 at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne, MD. Interment will be in the Whittington family cemetery in Upper Hill.
