Annie Mae Jackson, 86, of Kingston, MD went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Salisbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salisbury, MD. Born November 9, 1935 she was the daughter of the late John Jones, Sr. and Martha Kelly-Jones.
“Annie Mae” leaves to cherish fond memoires with her children, Samuel Jones (Bonnie), Larry Jones (Cynthia), David Jones, Lawrence Jones (Althea), Leonard Horsey, Anthony Horsey, Barbara Hayward (Gene), Lynette Sanders, and Andrea Moses; three sisters, Mary Collins, Henrietta Smith (George), Agnes and Bessie Sterling; 31 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew “Buddy” Jackson; one daughter, Denise Horsey; five brothers, William Jones, John Jones, Jr., Oliver Jones, James Jones and Robert Jones; five sisters, Pauline Bloxson, Agnes Maddox, Loletha Armwood, Martha “Geraldine” Corbin and Edna Jones.
A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, December 31, 2021 at Handy United Methodist Church in Marion Station, MD with a viewing one hour prior. A viewing will also be held 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the church. Interment will be in Waters Chapel Cemetery in Kingston, MD.

My sincerest condolences to you all. Ms Annie Mae was like a mother to so many of us to include admonishing when we all needed it. I have great memories from summers in the fields, to teenage years in a choir, to adulthood as a respected pillar in the community.
Take your rest, Ms Annie Mae. Thank you too, for your special friendship with my mom.

I remember having a good conversations and spending days and time with her during our Philadelphia trips and etc. Gone too soon but never forgotten. Playing with her grandchildren and her family members. Prayers and condolences goes out to my cousins and the entire family.

Sorry for your loss. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can not heal. Annie Mae was like a mother to me. We worked together at Rubberset. I remember that she surprise me with a birthday gift one year. Rest on my friend, I will miss you dearly.
