I was sadden to hear the passing of my dear friend Oliver Floyd Corbin. Family please know that I am here for you and I am just a phone call away. Floyd is resting in the arms of Jesus, where he is no longer suffering. God will forever be with you, in his word, Matthew 28:20, “Lo, I am with you always, even until the end of the world.” I wish, I could be there with you all, but I am out of town. Sleep on my friend, take your rest, see you in the morning.

To the entire Corbin family, I cannot express how sorry I am for your loss, and the world’s loss. While Floyd and I did not always see eye to eye, we always found our way to an agreement, and always it was based in deep respect for each other.
Floyd was a man of God, who truly believed it was only his job to love others, not to judge, or condemn. I admired him for that.
Go with God, Floyd.

Dear Family. I want you to know that I was deeply saddened to hear of the death of Floyd. We grew up just 2 houses apart. Floyd was always a helpful, kind, quiet-mannered person and will be missed by many. I remember how Floyd came to my family’s rescue with helpful information when my brother Jimmy passed away. I pray that God will continue to strengthen and comfort the entire Corbin Family. I love you all.

My prayers and condolences go out to dear Angela Corbin and this great Corbin family in the loss of your Dad, Mr. Floyd Corbin. As you celebrate his phenomenal life, hold every memory that God allowed you to make with him, forever close in your heart. Find comfort in knowing that all of what Mr. Corbin poured into you throughout his earthly journey, will cause his spirit to continue to live on and manifest through you. The Corbin legacy remains a significant footprint on the earth because Mr. Corbin’s life touched so many.
Stay strong and courageous and allow the Lord God to comfort you, guide you, and experience His love and peace…through these challenging days of bereavement. You are blessed.
