Quendoria Vanessa Spence-Brown, 60, of Crisfield, MD who was affectionately known as “Quinny” was called to her eternal rest to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, Maryland. Born April 12, 1962 she was born to the late Frank and Sarah Spence in Pocomoke City, MD.
The family later moved to Princess Anne, where she received her education in Somerset Public Schools. Quendoria lived her life to the fullest and no one was a stranger to her. She was always surrounded by family and friends and was a very good cook.
She leaves to cherish fond memories with: her devoted companion, Rudolph Tilghman; two sons, Joe’rell and Avery; three daughters, Vonceya, Petal and Destiny; three brothers; Frank Spence, Timothy Spence (Jackie) and Rodney Spence (Naomi); one sister, Denise Spence; twenty-one grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two special friends, Paula Holbrook and Lisa Handy. A host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and one sister, Frances Spence.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 17, 2022 at Metropolitan United Methodist Church in Princess Anne, MD, with a viewing one hour prior. A public viewing will be held from 2:00 PM-6:00 PM Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the Funeral Home in Princess Anne. Interment will be at John Wesley Cemetery (Cottage Grove) in Westover, MD.
