Larry Cornish, 55, of Wilmington, Delaware, Formerly of Princess Anne, Maryland departed this life Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Seasons Hospice in Newark, Delaware. Born May 16, 1967, he was the son of Henry Cornish and the late Jeanie Miles Gunther.
Larry grew up in Eden, Maryland and attended the Somerset County Public Schools. He was a self-employed carpenter for many years.
In addition to his father. he leaves to cherish his memory with his mother, whom raised him, Sandra Horsey; one son, Larry L. Cornish; three daughters, Deborah Bivens, Lazyra Cornish and Khadijah Milbourne; five grandchildren; one brother, Andrew Horsey, Jr.; nine sisters, Velva Gunther, Linette Gunther-Collins (Andre), Tysanne Cornish, Dionne Cornish Jones, Tammie Cornish, Danette Whittington, Jamie Turner, Andrea Byrd (George) and Angel Thomas; one uncle, William Cornish (Joyce); two aunts, Carrie Conway and Helen Ellis; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his mother (Jeanie), he was preceded in death by his father who raised him, Andrew Horsey, Sr.
A viewing will be held 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne, Maryland with a service of remembrance to follow.
