Frankie received his education in the Florence County School System and graduated from Gibbs High School in Pamlico, South Carolina in 1970. Which is what brought Frankie to Washington in the first place. He was an avid reader and loved to have long conversations about any subject.
Frankie loved taking his grandsons for outings to the horse stables, watching the metro and freight trains go by, and teaching them about sports. Favorite sweets were sweet potato pies, pound cakes and raisin cakes.
