Barbara Frances Miles, 85, of Princess Anne, Maryland formerly of Crisfield, Maryland passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury, Maryland. Born August 3, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Leander Stevenson and Marian Griffin-Stevenson.
She received her Education in the Somerset County Public Schools and later became employed at Carson Seafood and Mrs. Paul’s Kitchen both located in Crisfield. She was a loving, kind and very outspoken person to all who knew her. Barbara was known for her love of Cooking and feeding people.
Barbara is survived by two sons, Fredericko Miles and Claude Miles (Lynetta); three daughters, Lenore Miles, Valerie Handy (Larry) and Barbara A. Miles; one brother, Lionel Stevenson; two sisters, Sandra Lewis and Louella Stevenson; one aunt, Evangeline Coulbourne; 17 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Miles; three daughters, Glynis, Darla, and Vivia Miles; three siblings, Zelda Steward, Thomas Stevenson and Carmen Stevenson
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Saint Paul A.M.E. Church, Fourth Street and Broadway in Crisfield, MD with a viewing one-hour prior. A public viewing will also be held 2:00 PM-6:00 PM Friday, November 8, 2024, at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne, MD.
Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery located near Crisfield, MD.

Ms Barbara I miss you getting on me when my college teams loses but I will never forget how nice you was to me love you and miss you sleep well in God arms.
