Pamela D. McClendon

Pamela Deniece McClendon, 57, departed this earthly life on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, MD. Born May 21, 1967, in Perth Amboy, NJ.Β  She was the daughter of the late Willie McClendon and Paulette Rayfield-McClendon.
Pamela was educated in the Somerset County Public School System and graduated in 1986 from Crisfield High School.Β  She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years.
She was a member of Light of Crisfield Temple #86.Β  Pamela loved and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children; Marshonia McClendon (Ryan Byrd, Sr.), Uniqua Johnson and Dae’Jonn McClendon; six grandchildren, DaJah Byrd, Cpl. Ryan Byrd, Jr., Ayden Byrd, Grayson Wharton, Dior McClendon and Ry’Keem Miles; one great grandson, Makari Smith; two brothers, Willie McClendon (Gwendolyn) and Timothy McClendon; one sister, Marshalann McCready (Robert); one aunt, Augusta Rayfield; one uncle, John “Uncle Head” McClendon; special brothers-in-law, George Taylor, Jr. and Norvanda Sterling and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two nephews: Hassan McClendon and Jarrell McClendon.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 109 North Fourth Street, Crisfield, MD with a viewing one-hour prior. A viewing will also be held 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Friday, December 6, 2024, at the church, where ceremonial rights will be performed by Light of Crisfield Temple #86 at 7:00 PM. Interment will be held at Ebenezer U.M.C. Cemetery in Marion Station, MD.
