Thomas Saunders

Thomas Saunders,81, son of Emily Jackson, and Aaron Saunders of Warsaw, VA was born June 28, 1943, transitioned from this life on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

Tommy as he was known by friends and family was educated in the school system of Somerset County, Maryland. He was a graduate of Carter G. Woodson school in Crisfield, MD. Tommy was employed throughout his life for DuPont in Seaford, De, and Crown, Cork, and Seal in Salisbury, MD.Β  Later in life he was self-employed as a car detailer in Crisfield.

Tommy leaves to mourn his passing: a sister, Jill Jackson-Hutton (Jeanne) of Ringgold, GA; his nieces, Audrey G. Waters-Handy (William) of Marion, MD and Jaime T. Waters-Somers of Princess Anne, MD; a cousin, Carroll Jackson Smith of Chestertown, MD; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins to mourn his passing.

Tommy was preceded in death by his mother, Emily Jackson, his sister, Audrey Waters, and his nephew, Jeffery J. Waters, Jr.

All services will be private.

  5. To the Saunders and Jackson family. Tommy and Warren soil was classmates at Carter G Woodson School and he was a very nice person that likes to talk and laugh and cut up with everyone.
