Jennifer Lynne Smith, 42, Baltimore Maryland formerly of Crisfield, Maryland gained her heavenly wings on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at John’s Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Jennifer was born in Crisfield to Ruth Harris Schoolfield and the late Milton Smith.
Jennifer was educated in the Somerset County Public Schools. Jennifer later moved to Baltimore. Jennifer worked at McDonald’s, KFC, and Santa Marie’s Cafe. She loved to cook and was an excellent chef along with being a hairdresser. Jennifer was very independent.
Jennifer was affectionately called J-Lo or Jenny from the block, she was very loving and had a beautiful smile, she loved to eat, especially crabs. When not working she always found time for her friends and family whom she loved. She had a great love for all her family, especially her brother and sisters.
In addition to Jennifer’s mother, she leaves to cherish found memories with two brothers, Robert Schoolfield, Jr. and Montrese Smith of Baltimore; one sister, Hope Teasley, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; aunts, Mahalia Ann Turner of Crisfield, Russlyn “Candy” Williams (Allen), Norfolk, Virginia, June Williams, Sylvia Williams, Casealena Corbin (Alfred), Lorie and Sheba Whidbee of Crisfield, Rosetta McCready (Lorenzo) and Elaine Smith (Kenneth); uncles, Howard Harris of Crisfield, Curtis Harris, Raymond Harris, and Tony Williams; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her father, Jennifer was preceded in death by her bonus mother, Ms. Nellie White who helped in her upbringing in her childhood years; one brother, William Smith, and aunts, Sharon Cole, and Valerie Wise; grandparents, Beulah Harris, and Curtis Lee Williams, Sr.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home, 30639 Hampden Ave., Princess Anne, MD.

She was outgoing loving caring lady. always loving and caring to everyone to be around and to talk to as well.
