Audrey L. Williams, 92, of Delmar, DE entered into Heaven’s Gates on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at her residence. Born in Philadelphia, PA on September 21, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. Smith and Irma Dutton-Smith.
She was a member of Delmar Christian Center in Delmar, Delaware.
Audrey was a caring person who was always willing to help someone. She was a housewife who raised two children. She loved the Lord and her entire family. Her great grandchildren called her “Baby Jo”.
Her laughter, singing, cooking and jokes will be truly missed by everyone. She really made everyone laugh.
She leaves fond memories with her daughter, Marsha Smith of Delmar, DE; three granddaughters, Dana Brown of Tinto Falls, New Jersey, Stacy and Leah Smith, both of Delmar; 11 great grand grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Calvin Williams, whom she was married to for 58 years; one son, Gregory Williams; a grandson, Darris Miller and a son-in-law, Robert Smith.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Delmar Christian Center, 107 E. State Street, Delmar, Delaware with a viewing one-hour prior. Interment will be at Springhill Memory Gardens, 27260 Ocean Gateway, Hebron, Maryland.
