Melvin Louis Whitlor, Sr. of Princess Anne, MD, departed this life on Sunday July 4, 2021 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, MD. Born March 12, 1958, he was the son of the late Vinetta Whitlor Braxton (Frankiln Braxton) and Jenniver Brawner.
Melvin is survived by; two sons, Melvin Louis Whitlor, Jr. (Janai) and Amontre’ White; one grandson, Marjzir Whitlor; two granddaughters, Jzania Whitlor and Peyton Whitlor; three brothers, Calvin White, Alvin White and Francis White; two sisters, Victoria White-Davis (Bobby) and Felicia Matthews (Elroy, Jr.); two uncles, Paul Brawner (Maleta) and Warren Ballard (Judy); one special aunt, Apostle Margaret Johnson; two nephews; three great nieces and one great nephew.
A funeral service will be held will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Metropolitan United Methodist Church in Princess Anne, MD with a viewing one hour prior. A public viewing will also be held 2-6 PM Monday, July 12, 2021 at Anthony E Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne, MD, Interment will be at The Johnson Family Cemetery In Upper Hill, MD.
