Roland Bernard Jones, Sr., 77, of Princess Anne MD, departed this life Friday, August 19, 2022 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, MD. Born October 26, 1944, he was the son of the late Dossic Hitch and Margaret Jones Gayle.
Roland is survived by one son, Roland B. Jones, Jr.; two step daughters, Ella Hardy and Karen Carr- Cannon (Troy); eight grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Wright (Anna) and Bobby Gayle; two sisters, Barbara Miles (Oscar) and Rev, Dr. Joni Kindell; a host of nephews; nieces; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Jones; his son, William “Little Will” Jones; two brothers, John Gayle and Robert Gayle and one sister, Virginia Butterfield.
