  5. Very sorry to hear of the passing of VeVe as her CO’S would call her. She was a very sweet and sassy lady. But if you got on her bad side she was definitely a little firecracker and you would get it from all corners. She cared and loved her son so deeply and she spoke so highly of him while running escort. She retired with a smile on her face and never looked back@ ECI. To her precious son and I just learned of her bundles of joy of a grandson. I pray you both can find comfort and relive her joyful memories she left behind. I can’t imagine how you feel in losing a mother at such early age of you both. But I am glad he granted her with a grandson that I know she spoiled from day one. Young man I will keep you as well as her entire family in prayers. And I pray you can focus and move forward with your life as she would want you too. May God wrap his arms around you and show you the way to move forward while still remembering your mother. May God bless her son, grandson and her entire family and friends. My condolences to the Steward family!!!!

  29. We’re praying for God’s continuing grace, mercy and peace for the family during this most difficult time. This was totally unexpected.

I remeber car pooling with Vanessa and Art’June when we all worked at ECI….at the beginning of my career. She always gave me nuggets of advice on how to navigate that environment. Lessons I’ve passed on, and lessons I still apply for myself.

Fsmily….lean on and lean into reflections of the life she lead and the life she shared with you. Family has always been a strength of the Steward and Miles family. And that strength…..with God’s help…will cover and annoint you now….

    “Rest In Power”…Vanessa…..
