Wendale Peters, Sr. 59, of Princess Anne Maryland departed this life on Monday, February 23, 2026, in Las Vegas. Born to Arvy Wesley Peters, Sr. (Shirley) and Theresa Mae Peters Dismuke (Benny).
Known to us as “Mone” Wendale attended Greenwood Elementary School in Princess Anne and graduated from James M. Bennett Sr. High School in Salisbury, Maryland. His love for track and field led him to achieve gold, bronze, and silver medals, with blisters on his feet making us proud of him.
He also had a love for cooking, fishing, and detailing cars. His greatest passion was driving trucks and spending time with his grandchildren.
Wendale leaves to cherish his memory three children: Wendale Peters, Jr. of Salisbury, Jasmine Peters of Salisbury, and Keyiana Peters of Princess Anne; five siblings, brothers, Marvin Rider (Germany), Andre’ (Latasha) Peters of Delmar, Maryland, Arvy Peters, Jr. (Tamika) of Brunswick, Georgia and Dominic Corbin of Princess Anne; sister, Arreatha Peters of Fruitland, MD; a longtime companion, Wanda Pitts, and her daughters, Tashyra Pitts, Tara Sheppard, and Tarrin Jones; 12 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Wendale was preceded in death by his daughter, Te’ara Peters, grandparents, Daniel and Florence Holbrook and Elois Harmon
