George Samuel Borden, Jr., son of the late George S. Sr. and Juanita Borden was born August 26, 1941 in Marion Station, MD. He left this life for his heavenly reward on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Alice Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield, MD
He was educated in the Somerset County Schools. He worked at Edward McCready Memorial Hospital for many years.
He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters, Laurie Evans, and Cortney (Tony) Stallings, both of Crisfield, MD and Christen Borden of Washington DC; seven brothers, Harold (JoAnn) Borden, Frank (Gwen) Borden, Alfred (Olivia) Borden, all of Baltimore, MD, Donald Borden of Richmond, VA, Eugene (Deborah) Borden, Norris Borden and Morris Borden, both of Marion Station, MD; one aunt, Etrula King of Philadelphia, PA; one great-aunt, Annie Cullen of Marion Station, MD; one grandson and the apple of his eye, Jalen; two great-grandsons, Brycen and Karter and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, John Henry Borden.
A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Friday, January 20. 2017 at Handys United Methodist Church in Marion Station with a viewing one hour prior. Interment will be in the Family Cemetery in Marion Station.
