Tyvoila Handy Holden, 94, of Marion Station, Maryland departed this life Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Costal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, Maryland. Born November 3, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Blanche Selby-Handy.
She is survived by two sons, Earl, Jr. and Kirk Holden, Sr. (Bonnie); two daughters, Leslie Robinson (Leonard, Jr.) and Harriett Corbin (Ronald, Sr.); one goddaughter, Edith Fitchett-Gray; several grand, great grand and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Holden, Sr.; three sons, Donald, Bertrand”Chucky” and Maurice Holden; two daughters, Darlene Borden and Joan Holden; two brothers, James, Sr. and Nelson Handy, Sr. and two sisters, Helen and Beatrice Johnson.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Marion Station, with a viewing one hour prior. A public viewing will also be held 2:00-6:00 PM Friday, July 6, 2018 at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne. Interment will be at the Church Cemetery.
