Gerald E. Armwood, 80, of Princess Anne departed this life Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Aurora Senior Living of Manokin in Princess Anne. Born March 21, 1938, he was the son of the late Roger Armwood and Iris Smith.
He is survived by three sons, Boyd White (Joyce), Jerry Armwood (Yvonne) and Antonio Armwood (Angela); one daughter, Deborah Maddox (Scott); eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; two brothers, Gene and Craig Smith(Beverly); one special great aunt, Essie Mills and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Odessa Armwood and one sister, Rita Johnson.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Friday, August 24, 2018 at Friendship United Methodist Church in Allen, MD with a viewing one-hour prior. Pastor Sheneatta Whittington will be the eulogist. A public viewing will also be held from 2:00-6:00 PM on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne. Interment will be at Trinity U.M.C. Worship Center Cemetery in Venton.
