Vonzella Leatherbury, 54, of Princess Anne, Maryland departed this life on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland. Born August 9, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Thomas B. Leatherbury and Barbara F. Leatherbury.
In addition to her mother, she leaves to cherish fond memories: ex-husband and loving companion, Eugene Moore; one daughter, Tia Walston (Jason); two sons, David Collins, Sr. (Penny) and Joshua Hankerson, Sr.; one brother, Derrick Leatherbury; four granddaughters, L’Dawn Young, La’Tiya Turner, J’Lynn Rheel, and Gianna Collins; five Grandsons, Terrance Ward, Joseph Bailey, Joseph Turner David Collins, Jr. and Joshua Hankerson, Jr.; a host of nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by one sister, Katrina Leatherbury and two brothers, Thomas A. Leatherbury, Sr. and Michael Leatherbury, Sr.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 27, 2018 at St. Marks United Methodist Church in Princess Anne, Maryland with a viewing one-hour prior. A public viewing will also be held Friday, October 26, 2018 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Anthony Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne.
Interment will be at the Oaksville Cemetery in Princess Anne, Maryland.
