Samuel Joseph Collier, 78, of Westover, Maryland departed this life Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland. Born January 22, 1941, he was the son of the late Samuel W. Collier and Gladys Doane Collier.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 15 years, Phyllis M. Collier; eight children, Marvis Holden, Joseph Revels, Timmy Revels, Stephen Collier (Shryleen), Renae Collier, Rodney Collier, Sr., Lisa Collier Purnell (Doug), Oliver J. Collier, Sr. (Kimberly); one stepson, Barry Fisher (Floretha); one brother, William C. Collier, Sr. (Elsie); one sister, Norma Faye Williams (Charles); one aunt, Emma Doane Shreeves; 22 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a co-worker who was like a son, Brian Tunnell (Rena); two devoted friends, Clarence Bishop, Jr. and Theodore Waters.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 30683 Hampden Avenue, Princess Anne, Maryland, with a viewing one hour prior. A viewing will also be held 6:00 – 9:00 PM Monday, May 6, 2019 at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne.
Interment will at Spring Hill Memory Gardens in Hebron, MD.

So sorry to hear of Sam’s passing he was a great man , worked with him some and he always got muskrats from me . Always had a big smile on his face went I saw him . I will miss him . May god be with you .
