Gary Thomas Ward, Sr., 64, of Salisbury departed this life Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland. Born March 31, 1955 he was the son of the late George, Sr. and Mary Scarborough-Ward.
Gary leaves to cherish fond memories with his devoted wife, Ida Ward; two sons, Gary, Jr. and Donte Ward; two grandsons, Garian and Karon; one brother, Brad E. Ward (Lola); two sisters, Diana W. Burns (Robert) and Trudy M. Ward; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Dwight Ward.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Bishopville, Maryland with a viewing one hour prior. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
