Kevin Lamont Tyler, 26, of Crisfield, Maryland was born on February 28, 1994 in Salisbury, Maryland at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. He was the son of Rodney E. Stevenson, Sr. and Tara Whittington. Kevin was called home on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
Kevin was educated in the Somerset County Public School System. Whenever one saw Kevin, he was always smiling with his dimples showing and he always had a kind word to say to you. He loved his family and close friends. He loved his two daughters with all his heart, they meant so much to him.
Kevin leaves to cherish his loving memory with: his mother, Tara Whittington, Crisfield, Maryland; his father, Rodney E. Stevenson, Sr. of Salisbury, Maryland; adoptive father, Bishop Stetson E. Lane, II of Crisfield; grandmother, Beulah Tyler of Crisfield; grandfathers, George Bowyer (Alfreda) of Chestertown, Maryland and James Stevenson, Sr. of Philadelphia, PA; daughters, Kendra Lashae Tyker of Princess Anne, Maryland and Ka’ANa Marie Lynn Tyler of Crisfield, along with their mothers, Desiree Taylor and AnnaMarie Marshall; respectively; four sisters, Katrina Stevenson of Frederick, Maryland, Eboni McCready of Salisbury, Maryland, Ashley Stevenson of Frederick, Maryland and Chimere Stevenson of Bel Air, Maryland; five brothers, Delshaun Taylor, Aaron Terrell, Donte McClendon (Gerogia), Jamel Whittington and Marcus Whittington, all of Crisfield; a very special aunt, who he loved with all his heart, Georgina Bowyer-Ball; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to cherish his memory as well.
Kevin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sarah Diane Bowyer; grandfather, Gerald Tyler; an uncle, James Steveson, Jr; his oldest brother, Rodney E. Stevenson.
