Gary Rudolph “Fly” Jones, Sr. of Crisfield, Maryland formerly of Princess Anne, Maryland departed this life, Monday, August 3, 2020 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury Maryland. Born July 26,1952 he was the son of the Late Rudolph Jones, Sr. and Florence Deshields- Jones.
Gary is survived by two sons, Tom Rigsby and Gary Jones, Sr. (Autumn); four daughters, Lauralie Ingram, Danetra Jones, Iesha Jones (Avery) and Suprena Lake; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Rudolph Jones, Jr. (Mary) and Booker Wright; six sisters, Rosemary Cottman (Winfred) Desiree Martin (Henry), Pearlie Wright, Andrea Howard, Crystal and Chanique Johnson; a beloved friend, Terri Smith and a special buddy, Donald Fletcher and a host of nephews, nieces family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Desary Jones.
Gary was well known for his creative Bicycles and his favorite saying “YEP”!!
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Highway Holiness Church in Crisfield Maryland, with a viewing one-hour prior. A public viewing will be held 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Friday, August 14, 2020 at Anthony E. Ward Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne, Maryland.

So sadden to hear of the passing of Mr. Jones. He was a very nice man and willing to help. Prayers to the family and again so sadden. I remember how he came to visit my classroom at Woodson, checking on his nieces my first year. He was very kind. Even played the keyboard for them. Sorry for his loss.
