Lula Mae Fountain

Lula Mae Fountain, 84, of Princess Anne, Maryland departed this life Monday, August 10, 2020 at her residence.  Born February 29, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Artis Slade and Elizabeth Guess-Slade.
 
Lula is survived by two sons, Artis Fountain and John Bernard Slade (Teresa); three daughters, Patricia Johnson (Evereece), Luethel Collins (Ashford) and Doreen Slade; 13 grandchildren, Rahsaan, Brad, Bruce, Terrance, Marlo, Bernita, Sharon, Brenda, Kenitha, Anika, Ramona, Angella and Tyra; one brother, Fenwick Dickerson;  21 great grandchildren; 27 great great grandchildren;one uncle, Emmit Cotton;  three aunts, Evelyn Horsey, Ethel Wallace and Lorraine; one cousin, Edith Westcox; two sisters-in-law, Agnes Horsey and Della; a loyal and devoted care taker, Ruth Johnson, and a host of other cousins, family and friends.  
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Brian Maxwell; one sister, Viola Cotton and one sister-in-law, Margie Dickerson.
 
A Private Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, August 21, 2020 at St. James United Methodist Church in Westover, Maryland, with a viewing one-hour prior. A public viewing will be held 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Thursday August 20, 2020 at Anthony E. Ward Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne Maryland.
