Corey Randall Tull, Sr.

Corey Randell Tull, Sr., 43, known to many as “Cole Dawg” entered his eternal peace on Friday, March 26, 2021 at NE Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, after a long hard fight with Covid-19.  “Col- Dawg”, was born April 27,1977 to the late William and Jeannette – Tull.

Corey received his education from the Somerset County Public Schools, Princess Anne, Maryland. Corey wad also known for his superior athletic skills at Washington High School. He was a multi-sport athlete, participating in football, basketball, and baseball. Everyone knew when baseball season came there would be trouble. As a youth, Corey played for the Brown Derby Team of Deals Island Charge League.

Corey found love, and later he married “Love of his Life” Olivia Ransom (known to all as Libby), and from that union they had a son, Corey Randell Tull, Jr.

At a young age Corey devoted his life to Christ, he joined the Juniorettes and The Heavenly Voices of Dames Quarter. Corey rededicated his life to Christ and was a devoted church member and served on the Usher Board of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where Pastor Carroll L. Mills presides. When Corey was not at Church or Bible Study; he enjoyed talking on the phone with family and friends, as well as, playing video games with his brother, Junior and cousin Derrick Tull.

In addition to his son, Corey, Jr. and his son’s mother, Libby; he leaves to cherish his heartfelt memories with, one stepson, Devonte Ransom, all of San Antonio, TX; devoted god mother, Patricia Tull of Salisbury, MD; three sisters, Matilda White, Shiree Tull (Clarence)and Joann Tull (Gregory) all of Salisbury; two brothers, Gregory (Yolanda) Tull of Princess Anne and William Tull, Jr. of Salisbury; four nieces, LaKeisha Fields of Princess Anne, Kendra Tull (Leah), MeChelle (Ron) Corbin of Princess Anne; three nephews, Ricard Handy, Gregory Williams,  Jr. both of Salisbury, and Damar Handy; a devoted god brother and cousin, Derrick Tull; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, William and Jeanette Tull, he was also preceded in death by one devoted niece, Tyaneisha Tull; paternal grandparents,  James and Exemina Tull.

Corey “ColeDawg” Tull, Sr. was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Faith Christian Baptist Church, 500 East Lincoln Avenue in Salisbury with a viewing one hour prior.  A public viewing will be held today 2:00 PM-6:00 PM Friday, April 16, 2021 at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne, Maryland.
