Lucille M. Jones, 92, of Princess Anne Maryland, gained her heavenly wings Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, Maryland. Born January 18,1929. She was the daughter of the late Raymond, Sr. and Hettie Polk.
She is survived by one son, Walter Jones (Christine), 10 grand children, Tamika, De’Andre, Demond, Natika, Olivia, Travis, D’Janelle, Shelita, Tawanna, and Sierra; 18 great grand children; 12 great great grand children; one brother, David Polk, Sr. (Joyce Ann); one sister, Jenny Chase (Percy) and a host of Nephews, Nieces, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Jones, Sr.; two sons, Lester Jones and Oliver Jones, Jr.; one grandson, Michael; 14 siblings, Raymond Polk, Jr., Walter Polk, Earl Polk, Ephriam Polk, Clifton Polk, Glenmore Cannon, Charles Polk, Irving Polk, Sr., Bessie Ballard, Beatrice Polk, Bernice Stevenson, Ida Polk. Lottie Moses and Rita Polk.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 22, 2021 at St. James United Methodist Church in Westover, Maryland, with a viewing one-hour prior. A public viewing will be held 2:00 PM-6:00 PM, Friday, May 21, 2021 at Anthony E. Ward Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne Maryland.
Interment will be at St. Mary’s Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 12255 Pete’s Hill Road, Princess Anne.
