Frances L. Spence

Frances L. Spence, 60, of Princess Anne, MD departed this life Monday, June 7, 2021 at her residence.  Born April 28, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sarah Stevenson- Spence.

She leaves to cherish fond memories with:  her devoted fiancée, Marvin Ross; four sons, DeShaun Dennis (Alley), James Mackey, Alvin Thompson (Tonya) and Dorrence Reid; two daughters, Hishema Mackey and Charmaine Ross (Fred); 18 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers, Frank Spence, Timothy Spence (Jackie) and Rodney Spence (Naomi); two sisters, Denise Spence and Quendoria Brown; a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Metropolitan United Methodist Church in Princess Anne with a viewing one hour prior.  A public viewing will be held 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Friday, June 11, 2021 at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne.

  1. Frances had one of the biggest kindest hearts that God could give. No matter when you saw her she had a big smile for you a sweetness that made you feel happier. She was truly an Angel amongst us. She will be missed.

  3. I wanted to take the time on the behalf of me and my family to send our most sincere condolences 💐to the Dennis and Mendez family . I Know that in the time of grief there never seems to be the right words to say when your mourning the the passing of a loved one especially of a mother . I pray that in the days to come and moving forward that the God of peace comforts and strengthens your minds and spirit. To build you up and keep you During this time .Though you are grieved at this trying time find peace in knowing that she is suffering no more . Remember all the good times that brought joy and laughter in your lives over the years and Thank God Almighty for allowing you to have shared them. Cherish the time that is now given still and the time that you had . And all ways remember that God The Almighty Jesus Christ is in control let his word comfort you . Everything is in the time of the Lord . May God bless you and you family always .
