Valarie Wise

Valarie Lee Wise, 65, of Crisfield, MD departed this life Friday, January 28, 2022 at her residence. Born June 15, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Milton Whidbee and Marguerite Smith Whidbee-Ames.

She leaves to cherish fond memories with five sons,  Michael Whidbee (Melissa), Troy Whidbee (Shenna), Stanford Broome, Darnell Broome (Milly) and Stantez Wise (Beth); three daughters, Vickie Davis (Michael). Quiana Wise (Darryl, Sr.) and Manika Borden (Morris); four grandchildren,  Sydne, Michaela, Sa’Mia and Do’Moni; four sisters, Margaret Fosque (Ron), Sheeba Whidbee, Casalena Corbin (Alfred), Lorie Whidbee; three sisters-in-law, Earthalee Cullen, Myra Wise and Stella Whidbee; two special daughters, Dana Whittington and Missy Greene.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanford Wise; three brothers, Linwood Whidbee, Milton Smith and Michael Whidbee; and one sister, Sharon Cole.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Highway Holiness Church,  27127 Old State Road, Crisfield, MD.

  2. Val was a wonderful, caring, loving and warm person. I will never forget her kindness towards my daughter. She will be remembered with much affection.   4. Val was a beautiful person!! Enjoying life!! Going to miss your laughter and fun conversations. My prayers are with Micheal and family and a host of friends and loved ones. SIP my sister!

  5. Condolences & sincere sympathy to the family. Sorry for your loss. Val lived across the street from me for a long time. She sat outside a lot & when I would come out, we would always converse with each other. Once she moved, I did not see her much, but every time I would see Mike I would always ask about her. Val was very family oriented. Keep her memories alive.
