Robert Edridge Maddox, 40, of Asheboro, NC, formerly of Marion Station, MD departed this life Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
Robert leaves precious memories with his parents, Humphrey Maddox and Selena Sterling; his wonderful children, Robert Maddox, Mikayla Roy, Roman Maddox, Kyler Jackson, and Emerleigh Maness, who he loved dearly; siblings, Torrance (Tara), Shontae, Humphrey (Jessica) Maddox, and Tykeisha Ewell; Grandparents, Lucille Maddox and Richard Maddox; nieces and nephews, Alexis, Taylor, Aaron, and Malik Maddox, Brianna and Shayna Thomas, and Alexander Luke; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Haley Maddox; grandparents, Willie and Gertrude Maddox and Grafton Williams.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Saint James United Methodist Church, 8730 Crisfield Highway, Westover (Rt.413), MD with a viewing one hour prior. A Public viewing will also be held 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Friday, March 18, 2022 at the Funeral Home in Princess Anne, MD.
Interment will be at the Maddox Family Cemetery in Marion Station.

My prayers for the family and friends of this special man. He touched so many lives here in NC. We loved him like family. My daughters and I could not attend but our thoughts are with you all. He was so full of life and lived every minute to the fullest and taught us all how to be happy live life.
