Brenda Jane Whittington, 72, of Marion Station, MD transitioned on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional in Salisbury MD. Born May 5, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Jesse F. Whittington. Sr. and Christie Johnson-Whittington.
She is survived by three sisters, Patricia Pasqual (Jacinto), Elaine Williams (Ranford, Jr.) and DeShirl Bogia (Brian); one cousin whom she raised, Devine Danjoint and a host of nephews; nieces; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jesse Whittington and King Whittington, Sr.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Samuel Wesley United Methodist Church in Manokin, MD with a viewing one hour prior. A public viewing will be held 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2022 at Anthon E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne.

My prayers go out the the family. Brenda was my classmate she was a wonderful person. I saw her a few years ago at my cousins funeral. Her Mom n Dad was very nice people we worked in the fields together and saw each other ofter. I did not hear about her passing until the day after the funeral. Brenda always treated me very nicely and she always had that beautiful smile. May GOD continue to bless the family and hold on to the fond memories that she has left behind. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing but I hold on to the precious memories family you do the same n remember God will take care of you.
