Robert Anderson, Jr.

Robert Anderson, Jr.,  96, of Princess Anne, Maryland departed this life Wednesday August 3, 2022 at Manokin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Princess Anne. Born December 29, 1925, he was the son of the late Robert Anderson, Sr. and Leah Robinson-Anderson.

He is survived by one son, Robert “Keith” Anderson; four daughters, Dianne Wilson, Kay Anderson, Doretha Burrell and Wanda Mumford.; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; a host of great great grandchildren; one brother, Samuel Anderson and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Margaret Anderson and Bonnie Anderson; one brother, William Anderson and one sister, Margaret Jane Anderson.

A viewing will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday, August 12, 2022 at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne.  Interment will held 1 PM Monday, August 15,2022 at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, MD.

  2. My father lived on Vernon Rd he would work on lawnmowers at times and cut grass, he loved Dayton Restaurant. He use to love waxing his truck when it was running, he tried to be friends to all that he would meet. I thank everyone for the kind words that have been sent to me.

  4. Mr.Robert Andersen was a very good friend with my dad the late Ernest Rolley.They would sit on the porch and have themselves a good time talking.Prayers and deepest condolences to the family.
