Harrison Lee Ball, Jr.

Harrison Lee Ball, Jr., 66,  affectionately known as “Junie” “Eight Ball” of Crisfield,  MD departed this life Tuesday,  August 23 , 2022 at John’s Hopkins Bay View Medical Center in Baltimore, MD.  Born February 17, 1956, he was the son of the late Harrison Lee Ball, Sr. and Ruth Lee White-Ball.

“Junie” is survived by:  one son, Harrison Lee Ball, III; a devoted companion, Letitia Fitchett; three sisters, Denise Ball-Waters, Rose Lee Collins and Michelle Handy; one brother, Joseph Handy; several nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Roselyn Ball and one sister, Terry Ann Ball-Jones.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 10, 2022 at John Wesley United Methodist Church, Marion Station, MD with a viewing one hour prior.  A viewing will also be held 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Friday, September 9, 2022 at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Crisfield, MD.

Interment will be at the church Cemetery.

  2. Sending my condolences to the entire family, with special thoughts for Dee Ball and my brother Larry. I have several memories of “Eight Ball” from growing up as a child when he used to hang out with my uncle, and as an adult. He will be missed.

  4. Unc your truly going to be missed. Eric has spoken about you since this has happened you met so much to him. He always made sure he spend time with you when came home. It was nothing like his Uncle 8 Ball we’re going to miss you Unc especially my husband. SIP Unc
