Cornell Dana Corbin, Sr.

Cornell Dana Corbin, Sr., 67, of Clearfield, Utah formerly of Oaksville, MD departed this life Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at the George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born November 12, 1954  he was the son of Bessie L. Corbin and the late Sylvester Corbin.

In addition to his mother, he leaves to cherish loving memories with:  two sons, Cornell Corbin, Jr. and Patrick Corbin; 18 grandchildren; one great grandchild; four brothers, Thomas Corbin, Sr. (Mary), Russell Corbin, Sr. (Genoa), Ronald Corbin, Sr. (Dorothy) and Reginald C. Corbin, Sr.; three sisters, Linda C. Woolford (Stephen), Colleen Slade and Gale Corbin; his loving companion, Clara Pastrana; a host of nephews; nieces; cousins and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Princess Anne, MD with a viewing two hours prior.  A public viewing will also be held 2:00 PM-6:00 PM Friday, November 4, 2022 at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne.

Interment will be 1:00 PM Monday, November 7, 2022 at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, MD.

  4. So sorry to hear about Cory’s passing. He was a great partner and friend to all who worked with him at the Utah Test and Training Range.

  5. I worked with Cornell “Cory”. He always had a great attitude and a fantastic SMILE when we talked. I will always remember that. He is missed.

  6. Cory was a cherished friend and colleague at the UTTR at Hill AFB. He was a friend to everyone. We miss him profoundly!!
