Ms. Edna Virginia Horsey Borden, age 80, of Raleigh, departed this life on Monday, January 9, 2023.
The Funeral service was held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 15, 2023, at New Generation Temple, 4219 Lake Ridge Drive, Raleigh. Apostle Stephen Wilson, Pastor, Officiating. Visitation, 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, prior to the service. Public viewing, 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Stephen L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh, North Carolina.
She is survived by: one daughter, Michelle Alyse Borden Fuentes; one grandchild, Jeniah Fuentes; one great grandchild, Kaydence Alston; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
Final arrangements will be handled by Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne, Maryland.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Borden Family Cemetery in Marion Station, Maryland.
