Joseph Thomas “Joe Boy ” Lewis, 78, of Hopewell, Maryland departed this life Thursday, June 8, 2023 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, Maryland. Born October 27, 1944, he was the son of the late James Lewis and Evelyn Douglas-Lewis.
He is survived by his son Kervin Lewis and two grandchildren. His siblings, Matthew Lewis and Kay Lewis and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jonelle Lewis; three sisters, Mary Lewis, Jimmie Ann Chandler and Norma Douglas.
A funeral service will be held 1:00PM Saturday June 17, 2023 at Highway Holiness Church, 27127 Old State Road, Crisfield, Maryland with a viewing one hour prior.
Interment will be at Hopewell Cemetery in Crisfield.

So sorry to hear of the loss of my neighbor and your family member. We had been neighbors for many years until I moved away. We were also friends and he helped my mom a lot. I will say prayers for you. Be strong in the Lord.
