Derek Anthony Whittington, 45 , of Princess Anne, MD departed this life Saturday, July 15, 2023 . Born October 18, 1977 to the late Mitchell Whittington Carolyn Walston-Whittington.
He is survived by one brother, Darryl Walston; one sister, Dana Whittington; four uncles, Jesse Walston, Wilbert Walston, Jr., Wallace Whittington and James Whittington; four aunts, Faith Ballard, Deshirle Rowel (Randy), Betty Sawyer (Gerod) and Robin Walston; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, July 29,2023 at Handy/Marion United Methodist Church, 5630 Tulls Corner Road, Marion Station, MD.

You will be greatly missed. I can’t tell you how many memories I have with you. There’s too many to list you were my best friend. My brother, my children god father. To the whittington family iam sending my prayers and condolences to you and the entire family of Cousin Derek. He was a good cousin and best friend and very good to the entire community. He was good brother nephew and son best friend to everyone. I will always cherish the memories that I have of him. He is very well and greatly missed so much.
