Evan Davon Neal

Evan Davon Neal, 20 of Crisfield. MD gained his heavenly wings on Friday, April 25, 2925 here in Crisfield,  Evan ‘”Casper” or :Young King”  as he was affectionately called was born May 18, 2025 in Salisbury, MD  and was the son of Lynetta Douglas and Eddie Neal.

 Evan was educated in the Somerset County Public  School System. Upon graduation from Crisfield High School in June of 2023,  He entered the workforce at McDonald’s and Walmart. Evan enjoyed going fishing with his cousin Aaron on the weekends. You could always see Evan playing basketball at the courts or riding a four-wheeler. He loved car racing, motorcycles and riding his bike, He loved playing his X Box against his brother Eddie who is currently serving in the Air Force. Evan said it made him feel closer to his brother while he was away because he missed him. Evan really loved his family.

Evan leaves to cherish fond memories, in addition to his mother and father;  brother Eddie Neal Jr.; sisters, Ashley Collins, Aaleeyah Smith, Alexa Douglas, Ema’ya Neal and Elise Banks, Paternal Grandmother, Dorothy Haynes and Paternal Grandfather Eddie Neal(Pop-Pop Butch) Great Grandmother Loraine Cropper Neal:  Aunts; Fredia Douglas, Theresa Abdullah, Gina Sutton (Jody),

Felisha Sutton, Tonja Adams (Derrick) Romenia Hovington  and Kierra Jones all of Maryland; Fredia Neal, Michelle Neal, Shakira Neal, Dominique Holloman, Tiffany Holloman, Jessica Neal,, Shirley Neal and Sharon Neal, all of Florida, uncles Christopher Haynes, Tevin Haynes, David Neal (Fats) Eric Saunders (Black) Terrance Adams,  and Dexter Worrell, niece Ashlynn Collins, nephew  God-mom Sade’ Sterling and Mom-mom Laverne Tensie Sterling,

Evan had three men that were an integral part of his life since he was able to talk. They were like uncles to him. Randy (Grier) Wilkins, Preston Taylor and Terry White were such a blessing to Evan’s growth as a respectable young man.

Evan also had eight best friends who are serving as pallbearers today.  Also sharing in his loss are a host of other relatives, family, friends and the Crisfield Community.

Evan was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Barbara Douglas, paternal grandfather George Fredrick Murray and George Jones.

  The Family

       A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Crisfield Academy and High School, 210 N.  Somerset Avenue, Crisfield, MD with a viewing one-hour prior. A public viewing will be held 2:00 PM-6:00 PM Friday, May 9, 2025, at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne, MD.  Interment will be at Hopewell Cemetery in Crisfield, MD.

  1. One day I was driving on 413 and the tire fell off and Evan and Gary were gonna try to put it back on i said bro the axel’s broke we were going 65 mph. i wish we all were here with you man we had a lot of good times you were always the light making people laugh.

  10. I didn’t talk too evan like dat but i knew him and i knew he was very close too my uncle so i kinda knew him and this is sad he didn’t deserve dat all he was doing is protecting the lor kids and this is not rightt at all but i will always miss u , LLEV
