Lawrence Leroy Dale , Jr.

Lawrence Leroy Dale, Jr. , 59, of Fruitland, Maryland departed this earthly life Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, Maryland. Born July 21, 1966 he was the son of Lawrence L. Dale , Sr. Β and the late Geraldine Williams-Dale.

“Buck” as he was affectionately known was educated in the Wicomico County Public School System. He was mainly employed over the years as a landscaper but his primary occupation was in the automotive repair industry. “BUCK” loved repairing cars and was highly regarded as a Master Mechanic in the community.

In addition to his father, Lawrence Dale, Sr. (Gloria) he leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with his devoted companion, Bonnie “Bun” Chandler; four daughters, Wynita Dale (Brian), Kayla Watson, Mone’t Johnson and Latoya Williams. Also surviving his loss are several grandchildren, a sister, Dorothea “Rita” Crayton (Victor); a nephew, Kenneth “J.R.” Thompson, Jr.; one uncle, James Dale (Gwendolyn); five aunts, Agnes Dale Armstrong, Elaine Petry, Alice King, Shirley Dale Taylor and Irene Matthews; and a host of other family and friends.

AΒ Β Celebration of life for ” Buck ” will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne, Maryland.

  3. Lawrence “Buck Jones” Dale was always a laughing, joyous happy person. He had such a big smile, a good heart, and showed love towards everyone he met. He was truly a gift to the world, because he would always lift your spirits when you saw him. As a child, he was the exact same way, and he could dance and sing! He would only sing one little verse though and stop and laugh!

    He will definitely be missed, sending prayers and condolences to all of his family and friends.

  7. Wowwwww Mr Buck, you where a kind soul. The times I was around you always treating me good. Never heard a negative word come out of your mouth. Bun seemed happy whenever you came together.
