Jesse L. Collins, 74, of Salisbury, Maryland formally of Westover, Maryland departed this life Thursday, January 15, 2026, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. Born August 30, 1951, he was the son of the late Walter Collins and Cassie Handy Johnson.
“Lee” as he was affectionately known by family and friends was educated in the Somerset County Public Schools. After graduation, he attended welding and then the workforce. Jesse was employed for many years and retired in 2004.
He will be cherished by his children: Robert Jenkins and Wanda Taylor; his brother and wife, Vincent and Crystal Collins of Salisbury; sisters, Tara Collins of Salisbury, Lytania Jones (John) of Norfolk, Virginia, Margaret Johnson Baines and Lorrie Johnson; stepson, Danny Wade of Elizabeth, New Jersey; many uncles, aunts and cousins
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death, by his wife Diane M. Collins.
Jesse was loved and adored by many who knew him
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne Maryland.
